Scholarship & Recruitment Offers
Regional Dance America is opening doors to the professional dance world and beyond. RDA’s signature Scholarship & Recruitment Process is a cornerstone of our mission and gives young talented dancers opportunities beyond their regional borders. We welcome all professional training programs, company, college, and university recruiters to participate in our Scholarship & Recruitment Process and offer letters of encouragement, letters of acceptance, and scholarships to our dancers!
We have multiple ways to engage with RDA in 2024-2025, and your participation in one, two, or all three options is appreciated:

- RDA’s ONLINE scholarship & recruitment platform – This online platform enables you to view dancer application videos from across the country in December 2024 – February 2025. You may award letters of encouragement, acceptance, and scholarship via the online platform.
- RDA’s REGIONAL FESTIVALS (occurring March through May 2025) – These Festivals gather dancers, directors, and guardians together for master classes, performances, and networking opportunities. As a recruiter at the events, you’ll have dedicated table space to display information about your program(s) and engage directly with participants.
- RDA’s SOUVENIR PROGRAMS – All RDA Associates receive a souvenir program at the RDA Spring Festivals, in which you can place sponsored artwork to share information about your program(s) with the nationwide RDA Associate network.

How the Online Scholarship & Recruitment Process Works
Our goal is to provide all training programs and college and university recruiters with a realistic and personalized approach to the scholarship & recruitment process via virtual audition submissions, as well as optional on-site recruitment at RDA’s 2025 Regional Festivals.

You will complete the easy-to-use online form, linked above, to tailor participation with RDA to fit the needs of your program. All program scholarships (summer or winter intensives) and recruitment opportunities (year-round programs) must be submitted through this link. You may also reserve artwork space in the 2025 RDA souvenir programs through this link.
Deadline to submit your scholarship or recruitment opportunity: Oct 28, 2024

RDA will collect dancer applications. Each dancer has the opportunity to select their top five scholarship choices for which they would like to be considered as well as if they would like to be considered for college recruitment and professional training program recruitment.
RDA will collect video links & resumes from each dancer.

You will view profiles for every dancer that has expressed interest in being considered for your intensive program or year-round recruitment opportunity. Two rounds of applications will be sent your way.
The first group of dancer applications will be emailed in Dec 2024 and the second group of dancer applications will be emailed in Jan 2025.

After reviewing the dancer applications, you will provide your offers to the candidates through our online platform.

The dancers and their guardians will connect with you via email to accept your scholarship offers or recruitment opportunities for follow-up and attendance purposes.
Recruiters interested in participating in RDA’s 2025 Regional Festivals have the exclusive opportunity to attend classes, performances, networking engagements, and have dedicated table space to display information about your programs. Recruiters will meet with dancers and a guardian or artistic director in accordance with RDA’s On-Site Recruitment Policy.

To ensure your application is considered, you must be a dancer with, or alumni of, an RDA Member Company and must be a registered RDA Associate for the 2024-2025 season.
