Dance & Choreography Intensive

3 Week-long Intensives at 3 Locations:

Lawrence, Kansas (Kansas City area)

Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet (Carlisle, PA)

2 Tracks at each Location:

• Dancer Track – for dancers ages 13+ who are studying dance at an intermediate to advanced level. Dancers take daily ballet classes along with pointe, modern, jazz, Pilates, contemporary, hip-hop, ballroom, and more—all taught by world-class faculty. The program helps dancers strengthen their versatility and ability to quickly absorb new choreography, a vital skill for auditions and professional work. Participants build confidence and stage presence through nightly performances of new works, making this the perfect intensive for dancers who love to perform.
• Choreographer Track – for choreographers looking for an  immersive environment to expand their artistic voice through daily classes, seminars, and movement practices. Working with trained RDA dancers, participants create new works while having time and space to develop future ideas. Mentorship focuses on key professional skills such as fostering a positive rehearsal environment, collaborating across disciplines, and building a strong personal brand as a choreographer.

Performance Workshop

1 Three-day weekend Workshop 

June 5-7, 2026
Kingwood, Texas (Houston area)

The Performance Workshop is for dancers ages 12+ who are studying dance at an intermediate to advanced level. This workshop offers dancers the chance to learn classical variations and contemporary solos from leading ballet and contemporary artists while receiving individualized coaching to perfect their technique and artistry.

Each day includes technique and repertory classes, coaching, and performance demonstrations with thoughtful feedback. Through focused mentorship, dancers master the performance skills that make them shine on stage and broaden their repertoire. Each evening features demonstration performances of participants with constructive feedback, giving dancers the tools to transform their technique and artistry.

Register  RDA Associate Dancers receive automatic acceptance to the Performance Workshop and may register at any time until spaces fill.
