Summer Dance Intensives

Dance with us this summer!

Regional Dance America offers two unique programs:

  • National Choreography Intensive:  A two-week summer intensive expanding dancers’ versatility in diverse dance genres and choreographers’ expertise in the craft of choreography. For dancers ages 13+ and choreographers ages 16+.
  • National Training Program:  A two-week summer intensive focusing on dancers’ technical development with individualized coaching work to advance their training. For dancers ages 12+.

National Choreography Intensive
Dates  June 16 – 28, 2025
Location  Dayton, Ohio
Tracks  Three available options:

  • Dancer Track – for dancers ages 13+ who are studying dance at an intermediate to advanced level
  • Emerging Choreographer Track – for choreographers looking to explore different elements of the choreographic process with expert guidance; new phrases created on different dancers daily
  • Project Tier Choreographer Track – for established choreographers looking to incorporate new perspectives in their choreographic process to advance their craft; time, space, and dancers to develop a completed work throughout the intensive

National Training Program
Dates  June 16 – 28, 2025
Location  Dayton, Ohio

Dancer Track – for dancers ages 12+ who are studying dance at an intermediate to advanced level. Includes daily technique classes, repertory classes, and engaging workshops. The experience culminates with a final performance.

Register  RDA Associate Dancers receive automatic acceptance to the National Training Program and may register at any time until spaces fill.
