Ways To Support RDA

Inspire the next generation of dancers through support for RDA programs!

Regional Dance America (RDA) is a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. RDA was founded to further the mission of the National Association for Regional Ballet – decentralizing dance in America by fostering quality at all levels of development across dance genres. RDA creates meaningful scholarship, performance, choreographic, and Festival experiences for dancers and audiences throughout all North American communities, rural and urban, small town and suburb. The regional dance movement has cultivated over three hundred companies, including more than two-dozen nationally recognized professional dance companies. Through our efforts, thousands of dancers have been connected with millions of dollars of scholarship opportunities to propel their careers.

Please help Regional Dance America inspire the next generation of dancers with your support. There are many ways to contribute. Please contact us if you have any questions. Thank you for your dedication to the regional dance movement.

to support RDA’s operations and efforts

RDA brings together our member companies in diverse geographic regions for on-site and virtual events, master classes, workshops, and high-caliber performances. Through our Adjudication process, Festivals, and Summer Intensive Programs, RDA seeks to inspire a growing community of excellence in dance education and performance. Your contribution will fund RDA’s operations throughout the year.

Memorial Scholarships
in honor of RDA Co-Founders Barbara Crockett & Glenda Brown

Two scholarships, in honor of our late co-founders Barbara Crockett and Glenda Brown, will allow RDA dancers to participate in Regional Dance America’s summer programs. Ms. Crockett and Ms. Brown worked tirelessly for the regional dance movement across the United States ensuring that regional dance spread coast to coast. RDA would not be the organization that it is today without their guidance and support. We are honored to be able to offer these scholarships in their honor. If the incredible legacies of these two women have impacted your life personally or professionally, please consider making a gift to Regional Dance America in their memory.

National Choreography Intensive & Training Program
for meaningful summer training opportunities for dancers & choreographers

RDA’s National Choreography Intensive (NCI) is a multifaceted program, providing dancers, emerging choreographers, and seasoned choreographers the unparalleled opportunity to work, study, and create under the guidance of nationally recognized professionals in the fields of dance and music. Only the NCI offers an innovative and nurturing working environment to develop the craft of choreography. RDA’s Training Program offers dancers from across the nation a unique opportunity to train with supportive faculty in our signature trusted environment. Your contribution will support these two essential summer programs.
