Scholarship & Recruitment Offers
Regional Dance America is opening doors to the professional dance world and beyond. RDA’s signature Scholarship & Recruitment Process is a cornerstone of our mission and gives young talented dancers opportunities beyond their regional borders. We welcome all professional training programs, company, college, and university recruiters to participate in our Scholarship & Recruitment Process and offer letters of encouragement, letters of acceptance, and scholarships to our dancers
We have multiple ways to engage with RDA in 2024, and your participation in one, two, or all three options is appreciated:
- RDA’s ONLINE scholarship & recruitment platform – This online platform enables you to view dancer videos from across the country in January – February 2024. You may award letters of encouragement, acceptance, and scholarship via the online platform.
- RDA’s SOUVENIR PROGRAM – All RDA Associates receive a souvenir program, in which you can place sponsored artwork to share information about your program(s) with the nationwide RDA Associate network.
- RDA’s NATIONAL FESTIVAL occurring April 24-27, 2024 in Daytona Beach, Florida – This monumental event gathers all RDA Regions together for a Festival experience, during which you are welcome to attend classes, performances, networking engagements, and have dedicated table space to display information about your program(s) and meet with participants, guardians, and directors.

Over 1,500 dancers, 200 directors and educators, and countless guardians and alumni share in the excitement of the RDA National Festival – 4 incredible days of classes, performances, and getting to know your company’s products and services.

How the Online Scholarship & Recruitment Process Works
Our goal is to provide all training programs and college and university recruiters with a realistic and personalized approach to the scholarship & recruitment process via virtual audition submissions, as well as optional on-site recruitment at the National Festival.

You will complete the easy-to-use online form, linked above, to tailor participation with RDA to fit the needs of your program. All program scholarships (summer or winter intensives) and recruitment opportunities (year-round programs) must be submitted through this link. You may also reserve artwork space in the 2024 RDA souvenir programs through this link.
Deadline to submit your scholarship or recruitment opportunity: November 17, 2023

RDA will collect dancer applications. Each dancer has the opportunity to select their top five scholarship choices for which they would like to be considered as well as if they would like to be considered for college recruitment and professional training program recruitment.
RDA will collect video links & resumes from each dancer.

You will view profiles for every dancer that has expressed interest in being considered for your intensive program or year-round recruitment opportunity.
An email of dancers interested in your program will be sent in January.

After reviewing the dancer applications, you will provide your offers to the candidates through our online platform.

The dancers and their guardians will connect with you via email to accept your scholarship offers or recruitment opportunities for follow-up and attendance purposes.
Recruiters who are interested in attending RDA’s National Festival happening April 24 – 27, 2024 in Daytona Beach, Florida have the exclusive opportunity to see over 1,500 dancers in classes and performances and to meet with dancers and a guardian or artistic director in accordance with RDA’s On-Site Recruitment Policy. Additionally, name badges with a universal numbering system will indicate the school grades of all dancers in attendance for recruitment purposes.

Our online application portal, hosted by Acceptd, will be available in Fall 2023! To ensure your application is considered, you must be a dancer with, or alumni of, an RDA Member Company and must be a registered RDA Associate for the 2024 season.
